Mimi was woken by the sun shining in her room she groaned looking up to find her parents gone she looked around and noticed that the house was a mess and a big one she shuddered slightly running around the house.

"Mom! Dad!" Mimi called out cupping her mouth as she did so she saw a note saying to come to the digital world and something about an ultimate choice could her parents sudden dissapearance have something to do with the digital world. Mimi bit her lip nervously and dialled Tai's number he was the first person Mimi could think of calling she didnt want to go to the digital world alone after all.

Gatomon helped Agumon to his feet as he was thrown back by Sako the woman was so cruel almost unimagineably she hated seeing her friend so frail and helpless she needed Kari and Tai and the other Digidestined. Suddenly Agumon voiced what Gatomon had been thinking for awhile.

"I want Tai." Agumon murmured and Gatomon sighed hugging her friend not sure what to say to comfort him she felt the same way.

A warm summer breeze entered Taichi's bedroom; it nudged the blue curtains that hung over the window and grazed a hand that had left the safety of a light blanket, coaxing the boy gently to wake up. The elder Yagami sibling groaned as he stirred from where he lay, as if asking for just a few more minutes of sleep. Pulling back the traitorous hand that almost caused him to wake up earlier than he would have wanted, he willed himself back into his dreams - of their adventures years ago when he was still an eleven-year-old.

Unsurprisingly, the alarm clock in his room had not been set. Of course, who in their right mind would want to wake up early during summer vacation. Certainly not Taichi. But as he tried to go back to sleep, the sunlight that came into the window slowly crept across the floor, up on the white bed sheet before finally coming to a rest onto Taichi himself. It was time to get up, and with a mildly annoyed groan the fourteen-year-old pushed himself out of bed and looked around his room. It was exactly how he left it the previous night. He stretched his body, molded into shape by his love for soccer, and yawned before getting on his loafers and starting toward the door. "Wonder what's for breakfast."

"Morning every-" Taichi slipped his head through the half-open door to his bedroom to find their living room in complete disarray. Normally during these summer days, he'd be the last to wake up (though not by that long, he'll assure you) and would be casually greeted by his sister and his mother who would still be at the table eating (his father would've left for work before he woke up). But this morning the whole place... the couch had been overturned, the TV knocked onto the floor, kitchen utensils were scattered all over the kitchen floor and the picture frames on a far side cabinet seemed to have been thrown into the far side of the living room. His hands trembled slightly as he looked around the Yagami household. How did all this happen without him knowing, without him waking up? He sprinted toward his parents' bedroom only to find that it too seemed to have been torn apart and that there were no signs of his parents anywhere in the house.

His heart stopped as he looked at the one bedroom in the house he had yet to check - Hikari's. If the attackers, whoever they may be, wrecked their home and took away their parents... would they have taken Hikari as well? He rand toward his sister's room and practically tore the door open to see if she was safe.

"HIKA-" Taichi froze in place for a few seconds. Regaining his snese of self, the young man closed the door behind him. Hikari was indeed safe. She was sleeping... in a somewhat compromising position. Shaking his head and reminding himself not to look into her room again without knocking, regardless of the fact that the Yagami household never locked their rooms to each other, Taichi tried to calm down. He'll wake Hikari up later when he finds out more about whatever happened to their parents. But for now he needed to call the other chosen children and find out if the same thing happened to them.

Seeing the telephone knocked out of its crib and on the floor, he walked towards it. He leaned down to find the telephone directory under a cabinet and retrieved it. He looked up the telephone number for the Ishida household while he put the phone back in its crib to get the dial tone back. But the moment the telephone was reunited with its rest, it gave a shrill ring that caused Taichi's hand to suddenly jerk back along with the phone, cursing. He barely caught the thing before it fell on the floor and stammered into the receiver. "H- hello?"

"Hey Tai its me Mimi. How are you? Hey are your parents home? Cause I have no idea where mine are. Also have you spoken to Agumon lately? I have a feeling this has something to do with the digital world." Mimi said speaking in a rush biting her lip she sighed she was not good with staying calm in a freaky situation she tried to keep her voice steady as she carried herself to the computer room and turn the computer on. Mimi tried to open a portal to the digital world but it wasnt working what on earth was going on over there? Mimi suddenly felt herself get sucked in a bright light the phone slipping from her hand as she let out a shriek when she was sucked in. Mimi's eyes widened at Agumon's condition hoping somehow Tai would sucked in but she let out a startled cry when she saw all the parents of the Digidestined along with their digimon looking badly beat up and brusied especially Agumon he had digital blood coming out of him she bit her lip really wishing Tai was here.

"Hey Tai its me Mimi. How are you?"

"Uh o- oh Mimi." Mimi had barely introduced herself when she started barraging Taichi with questions.

"Hey are your parents home? Cause I have no idea where mine are."

"Yeah my parents went mis-" Taichi had barely enough time to answer a question before the next one was asked.

"Also have you spoken to Agumon lately? I have a feeling this has something to do with the digital world."

"Uh yeah, last time I talked to him was yesterday I think. And I was afraid of that, I guess we should call the other-" But before Taichi could finish what he was about to say, there was a wild scream from Mimi's side of the conversation. And after that, silence.

"Mimi? Mimi, you still there? Hey, hey you okay over there? Mimi? MIMI!" A panicked Taichi gripped the edge of the table where the telephone was placed as he called out Mimi's name.

"Hikari! Hikari, wake up!" This was no time for subtlety, Taichi had assumed Mimi was taken away as well and he'd better rally up the others to investigate, now. While he called out his sister to wake up, he dialled Yamato's number which was still on the directory.

"Come on, pick up pick up pick up pick up....." Taichi's fingers drummed on the table as the sound of cars honking just outside their apartment complex seemed to get louder by the second. This was Tokyo after all, and it was rush hour. Everyone had somewhere to go, and everyone had someplace to be. Taichi cupped his left hand on the receiver as he tried to wake up his sister again. "Hikari get up, now!"

"Darn it!" Finally giving up on Yamato, Taichi searched the telephone directory for other numbers. He tried calling Ken, Miyako, Iori, Jyou, Daisuke and Koushiro and all with the same result - no answer. Had they all been taken? Cold fingers flipped through the directory and came up with Sora's telephone number. Taichi tried it and waited. "Hikari wake up, I need you here!"

One ring, two rings, three... and then suddenly someone picked up.

"SORA!" Was all Taichi had managed to say as the TV set which had fallen from its place (yet mysteriously unbroken) let out a light before sucking him in. He never had a chance to tell Sora what was happening, nor see if his sister had woken up.

Sora was sleeping peacefully until the sunlight hit her from every angle the redhead stirred as her alarm went off and snapped it shut she sighed and opened her eyes looking around frantically as she rubbed her eyes Sora got changed into her usual clothing and headed downstairs. Her eyes widened when she saw everything all over the place.

"M..mom...?" she managed to stutter out her hands were trembling she didnt know what had happened she felt scared though like she had never been before the redhead looked around then reached down picking up her notebook with all her friend's numbers on it she saw Mimi's and decided to dial her best friend and jumped as the phone rang she reached out and picked it up.
"Hello?" Sora said her voice slightly shaky and gasped as she heard Tai's voice scream out her name.

"TAI!!!" Sora cried back but it was no use they had taken him too her thoughts drifted to Biyomon wondering and hoping she was okay had they captured her to? Oh she hoped not she didnt have too much time to worry and dwell as she was sucked into there as well. Sora's eyes became relieved when she saw Tai and Mimi but they became worried when she saw Biyomon's condition and felt tears fill her eyes when she saw her mother unconscious in a cage.

"Biyomon...talk to me...are you?" Sora said her voice trembling as Biyomon simply whimpered resting her head on Sora's lap as the redhead wrapped her arms around her digimon.

Mimi looked up when she saw Tai and Sora she ran over and hugged them both before stepping out of the way and going to Palmon's side besides she thought Agumon needed to see Tai more than her right now they were in some sort of cage and all the digimon were either injured or unconscious. Agumon staggered up to his partner.

"Hey...Tai whats...up?" Agumon stammered out before collapsing next to him. Mimi bit her lip she felt her heart break when she saw Sora and Biyomon she sighed they really needed Joe right now. Mimi looked and saw Agumon look at Biyomon worriedly she always knew those two digimon cared about each other a lot.

Taichi landed hard on his backside as the white portal above him closed. He had just been through what seemed like a vertical tunnel filled with a blinding light. He blinked twice and squinted as his eyes tried to familiarize themselves with the relative darkness. He could make out two blurry figures. One was definitely Sora and the other he identified as Mimi after his eyes adjusted a bit more. "S- Sora. Mimi. Are you guys-"

"What the- Agumon?" Before he could get up and walk over toward the two girls, he felt something at his side. He immediately recognized his digimon partner and leaned forward to pick him up. "Agumon, you okay?"

"Agumon, talk to me buddy! Oh man," Tai grew concerned over his friend. Agumon was bruised badly, he might even de-digivolve soon. Taichi held him tight, it was hard to imagine that they'd been talking just yesterday about how his crush on-

"Hey, any of you guys seen Jyou?" Gomamon limped forward, his front left leg didn't feel so great but he could still move around. He stopped just in front of the three and groaned. "It all happened so fast. One minute I was enjoying the ocean rhythm and the next thing I know we were in this cage."

"Of course, we're not just going to let 'em off that easy so we fought. All of us did" Gomamon propped himself on his right leg; it was better this way because he didn't have to support himself on the weakened left. He motioned behind his shoulder toward the other digimon partners with them in the cage. They were sleeping, some in rookie form and others in their in-training stage. Demiveemon, Tentomon, Hawkmon... "But we're just not strong enough to take 'em on and eventually de-digivolved back to rookie after a long time fighting."

Taichi lowered his gaze on Agumon, trying to make words out but he found himself speechless. Gomamon saw this and continued. "I'm guessing it wouldn't surprise you guys if I said Agumon and Veemon kept at it, even though we've already lost."

"Like chosen child, like digimon I guess." Gomamon sighed, looking around and hoping Jyou would appear out of nowhere like the three. "The two of them spurred us on so we kept on fighting and well... here we are."

"I'm- I'm so sorry Agumon." Taichi held him close. "I- I should've been here for you."

Sora saw Tai's concern and felt bad for him she held Biyomon with one hand and went over resting a gentle hand on Tai's shoulder smiling at him in a comforting way.
"It's going to be okay Tai we're here now and we can solve things lets just hope the others appear as well like we did." Sora said sighing a little as she bit her lower lip.

"We cant really give up though Gomamon no matter how tough the situation is and dont you worry I'm sure Joe will come and patch you guys up as soon as possible but how did you get like this who did it to you?" Sora asked a flash of anger crossing ehr face and she sighed.

"It was Sako...she's back she sent more slaves at us...and we got outnumbered than she went and captured your parents...she's planning to use them to get you guys to give us up as her slaves she may make you choose between us." Biyomon said her voice sounded so frail so weak that it made Sora want to almost cry but she didnt.

"We'll save you both I love you both I'm not going to lose that." Sora said her lower trembling as she hugged Biyomon before looking up towards Tai and Mimi.

"Thats right Gomamon...I'll always fight till the end...we're not the chosen digimon for nothing." Agumon said his voice was slightly weak but firm at the same time he managed a small smile towards Tai.

"I'm okay now...they sort of used our weaknesses against us...and mind control as well...it sort of threw me off guard I didnt know how to react...and then one of the digimon sent an attack at me which knocked me out...and then I was here. After that Sako continuly beat me for not giving in to becoming her slave and yeah thats about it." Agumon said sighing a little. Mimi bit her lower lip.

"Couldnt you guys somehow blow this cage apart?" Mimi suggested sure it sounded stupid but it was her best go right now she couldnt think of anything else.

"I can try...but I would need to digivolve to Wargreymon...I can do it then...if I have the strength." Agumon said coughing out some blood his breath was getting wary from the talking.

"It's going to be okay Tai..."

Taichi looked up at Sora, somewhat intimidated to see her resolve but it wasn't anything to be surprised about. Sora was a strong. Not in the physical sense but strong enough to stand up when things don't go as planned... kinda like him. He returned to her a smile, it was weak but it was a smile. "Yeah... thanks, Sora."

When Biyomon brought up that their parents were also captured, Taichi remembered the events earlier that morning. He didn't look for long to see his parents in a separate holding. "Mom, dad!"

The young man reached out towards the two figures who were huddled together against a corner but he had barely leaned forward when he realized he still had Agumon with him. Taichi retracted his arm, patting the digimon's back as he coughed slightly. "To choose... between our parents and our digimon. I- I can't do that!"

"Thats right Gomamon...I'll always fight till the end...we're not the chosen digimon for nothing."

Taichi couldn't help but smile. Agumon sounded just like him three or four years ago. But as Agumon expounded on what happened to him, Taichi's face adopted a stern expression. The hand that was patting Agumon's back was now clenched. "That's... that's not right. They use dirty tricks on you and kick you when you're down? That's not fair!"

"Couldnt you guys somehow blow this cage apart?"

"Already tried that when I was Ikkakumon, also tried Zudomon's hammer. These bars look like they've been reinforced with digizoid or sumthin'." Gomamon spoke out, still lying on the floor.

Agumon then offered to do it, but as he coughed Taichi was quick enough to cover Agumon's mouth with his right hand while the other patted down his back. He took one glance at his palm and realized Agumon was in no shape to fight. And he would never dare impose on Agumon unless it happens again. "No Agumon, I won't allow it. You just rest, we'll figure something out and I'll get you out of here. I promise."

Gomamon had his head turned so he could see Taichi and Agumon better. At this point he realized he didn't want Jyou here. He wanted to be with Jyou, there was no doubt about that but for him to be in this situation? Gomamon rested his head on the floor, it felt so heavy. "Don't come here, Jyou... don't ever come here."

(I need directions, Amna. Are we supposed to try and break out, sit here helplessly, or start going through the dilemma of saving either parents or digimon? I'm kinda groping blind here, maybe you could tell me what needs to happen next)

[Okay what Amna wants is for them to try and resolve the matter of having to choose between their parents and digimon I'll bring Sako in to make things more exciting.]

"Bad guys dont really play fair Tai we both know that." Agumon said smiling weakly before closing his eyes from the pain that was still in him so much but now that Tai was here things would still become better at least he hoped so otherwise he could not be able to handle it very well.

"Sora, how will we get out of this though things seem so hopeless?" Biyomon said sadness evident in her features Sora hugged her digimon gently for a moment not sure how to answer but managed a small smile.

"TK wouldnt be too happy with us if we gave up hope we will get out of here and so will our parents." Sora said her voice soundign more determined than she felt but she had to be strong for Biyomon right now she flinched back as a lady walked up to their cage.

"Biyomon who is she?" Sora whispered so only Biyomon could hear.

"Thats Sako she's the one who has all those innocent digimon as slaves." Biyomon said cowering behind Sora.

"Well well so you finally reached your digimon? Whats the matter Biyomon scared good you should be I would control the glaring if I were you Agumon because soon you and the other digimon will be serving me all your life unless of course you dont care about Tai, Agumon I'm sure Tai wouldnt like his parents hurt because of you of course you can prevent it." Sako said smirking slightly at him and Agumon who was previously glaring flinched slightly.

"What do you want from us you monster?!?" Agumon yelled at her and Biyomon rushed over trying to calm him but noticing the fear in his eyes she backed away.

"I want you digimon to become my slaves through your own will." Sako replied smirking and Agumon closed his eyes it was worth it if it was for Tai but was he really that strong he saw Mimi pull Gomamon into her arms and start to tend to his injuries but when she heard Sako say that she looked up.

"Go to hell dont give in to her guys we'll find a way to defeat her she doesnt know who she's messign with!" Mimi cried her eyes filled with pure fury.

(sorry i forgot about this guys. i'll jump in here now...Oh and I can be Miyako too since no one else seems to be playing...)

Hikari woke up with a start. "Tai?" She called out. No one answered her. "That's funny...he was just screaming about something earlier...probably lost his soccerball again." she said as she laid back down. But something just wasn't right. "But I don't hear anything...that's strange." She finally got up and put her slippers on. She was shocked to find the house in disarray. "Tai...TAI?!" she screamed. She was suddenly very frightened. She checked the bedrooms and realized that everyone was gone. She had one of her stange feelings that something was going on in the digital world."Oh Tai...Tailmon...I hope you're okay..." she thought aloud. "I wonder if this has happened to anyone else?" she said as she picked up the phone on the ground. She dialed Miyako's house, but the t.v sucked her in as well. The last words she had time to scream were "MIYAKO" before she disappeared.
