Well yeah, with no humans you probably have to fill the void somehow.
But sometimes, that can be kinda confusing.

Well yeah, with no humans you probably have to fill the void somehow. Technically, even if there were no humans at all, it could still be an enjoyable season - the same way Frontier went on without partner digimon. There shouldn't be a void to worry about. |

Exactly trust me Digimon-only would be fanfic paradise for Digimon couples creeps (minus PataGato I support that one and think it is natural for Champion stages and on)

Its like one of the producers got drunk, watched a marathon of COPS and Digimon Adventure 01 and 02, and said "hey we need Digital cops *falls down and gets up* and we need to name him Marcus.*falls over*" oh darn I said his name and youre right it is a yay YAYZ

Although for Tamers I think the same producer also got drunk and said "We need humans fusing with Digimon *falls on table and sits down* and we need a plothole videogame reference to make our fans go wtf *falls into slide projector*" probably why they believed him the second time
