Does anyone here actually like S5? I've only watched two episodes and I already got bored. The human partners are too old, punching digimon is just plain stupid, and Agumon is Taichi's digimon. Is nothing sacred?

One episode, appeared to be in the middle somewhere, in Germen, which I can't speak, and I still don't feel too judgemental by saying it wasn't fun. It had moments but not really worth anything. I think that my non digimon watching friend put it best 'What no goggles? How are we going to tell it's digimon then?'

After the first one i was mad. My dad was telling me to chill....and you're right about punching digimon....and agumon's just as aggressive....i don't get it....it's like he's totally gone now....

Truthfully, when I first watched this I was waiting for Masaru's younger brother to show up with goggles as the protagonist. I thought he was just a sideshow character.
Someone tape his mouth shut...

Really, what were they thinking when they aired this. There are really diehard fans of digimon but I don't think even they appreciate this season.

I don't know, but they did it. But they're are people out there who like this.....I'm not sure if they've seen seasons 1-4 but they like it. And you're right, this season was a let down for diehard fans. I'm gonna attempt to watch this season through...(somebody might have to strap me down) and then see what i officially think of the dub.
(and to get off topic for a minute: i think almost everyone here knows I'm a sailor moon fan whether you knew I was a bit of a fanatic or not. I discovered something very disgraceful that they almost aired in america instead of the dub. We call it saban moon. Watch at your own risk. To be honest, after seeing that I'm not very surprised what they would put on anime wise.)

They should have just made a sequel for s4, if you ask me.

yup!!! Very much so! I'm writing my own series and have some chats! Oh, if you dare go to youtube and look it up....and it's good that you've never heard of it.....
And technically season 5 is the sequel.....i remember reading it somewhere.....
