I'm a firm believer that even as Patamon and Gatomon they can have deep romance moments, I showed that on my own fics without going over the edge and man they sure got quite good response in reviews and they aren't even complete yet lol.
What got me to write Gatomon's Baby besides giving continuation to another fic on fanfiction.net called Gatomon's Egg, a PataGato fic too by an author named Emperor Daemon but that he never wrote past the first chapter, was because I really could picture Patamon doing everything he could to help a pregnant Gatomon like a good daddy to be.
Is just that Patamon strikes me as a digimon that will do anything to make his mate happy. I see him more than just that cheery, playfull and a bit naive digimon. Fans always go with the first impressions but we never get to know what they are keeping to themselves inside them, unless it is explored due to the series' plot requiring that like for example how TK's feelings towards the Darkness had to be explored more so Cody could understand why TK is like that when it comes to darkness.
Fantasy Magician sure knows what I mean with this due to our talks ^^

yep I am understand  and BTW....Goggles-san~ what hit you is not mallet XD I am asking Diaboromon to launch missiles to you... (just kidding) Having kids... yeah I get what you mean even though I don't mind that idea (all of my friends in FF.net know I am a fan of pairing with issue) XDDD Back to Patagato, so far I 'think' this digimon pairing is the only one that hinted since season 1-2, no offense to Veegato but it last only in 1 episode =_= it come like a bomb and BOOM in one episode then vanish~ Interesting fact of ep 50 season 1 Angewomon said 'leave it to me' to Angemon only, and he replied 'I leave it to you' What's so interesting is Angewomon who is the most experienced in battle among them due to her time with Vamdemon can day dreaming in the middle of a fight... looking at retreating form of Angemon as smiling XDDD Her eyes practically glued on him until she get kicked by LadyDevimon ha ha ha and she was so mad at LadyDevimon after her daydreaming interrupted by that evil lady LOL. She is not that mad/hate LadyDevimon that badly before, right?She even yelled at Kabuterimon who helped her... she really on bad mood... it surely a different ver from Angemon and Devimon... but still epic. I hope this scene exist... "Let's go Takeru..." ANgemon said as picked Takeru up. CRASH *Angewomon imprinted to a rock* "WHat was that?" *turned around* "Now you're in for it!!!" Angewomon punched LadyDevimon "... she looks so energetic today..." *Angemon fly* I don't know better comment he could say ^^ |

You know it's funny digimon pairing and possibility of marriage is so foggy in this anime.
Renamon imply digimon did have gender but unable to reproduce, she is kind of confusing... but burger family on frontier married and have children~ my my... digimon's story-writer make up your mind please!!!
But it's crystal clear Lopmon in frontier is a male and one in tamer is a girl~ sowhat do you think?
random question that popped up from nowhere: If Angemon from adventure and frontier take off their helmet do you think their faces are the same??? In my opinion human can't differentiate face of the same species digimon just like we can differentiate monkey's face~

at least half of it. So far only Zephyrmon from frontier covered lower part of her face...
btw I think if not all Angemon have same face beneath that helmet ^^;
And back to Patagato~ they have habit to continue each other word... kind of funny I think and cute off course.
Especially one when they commented on ep 22 when Davis got chased by Tortomon,

Funny in ep 38 season 1 they as if programmed to speak half of sentence they wanted to say.

Let me clear this up, it's the dub that's confusing you. If I'm not mistaken, what Renamon said back then is that digimon did not have biology (in other words, genitals) although they do have gender qualities, take Angewomon's feminine physique for instance. The hamburgermon... hm, maybe they just adopted each other as a family. As for the angels' faces, well you're not supposed to see them lol. Masks and helmets are pretty much common-wear for humanoid digimon. Of course, you have to be able to easily identify them as digimon rather than human (I guess you can think about Arukenimon's human and true form here). |

who knows? Actually I watch sub but as you know that fox digimon kind of hard to understand... and burger family... adopting? Maybe but... I doubt it since isn't too many kids they adopt not to mention all of them from same species, too believable a a set of family ^^
BTw about angel face it's not like wanna see or not but since all digimon looks so alike, I wonder if humanoid one have same face too =_=

The digimon universe (or at least in Frontier's case) is where one can use sticky tape as construction material (when the gang was on the moon) and that clump of rocks might turn out to be alive (Gotsumon). Very few things make sense when you take a step back, really.
Shall we get back to Patamon and Gatomon?
