Patamon and Tailmon are quite close its amazing what I like about them is they can get together and still remain loyal to their partners and other digimon.  |

Well, is just that considering the kind of hard life Gatomon had which forced her to even mature and digivolve on her own to champion level without a digivice, it is interesting how of all the digimon in the team she opened more to Patamon. I mean we all saw her reaction when she saw DemiVeemon, Upamon and Poromon pigging out food, you could tell she is making a great effort to hang out around in-trainings and rookies but with Patamon is different. With Patamon she even looks more playful, just look at the scene of them dancing. Honestly any of you ever thought that we could ever see Gatomon dancing sometime? I honestly never thought that could happen due to how mature and serious she is most times. In the japanese dialogs Gatomon said she wanted to dance when she, Patamon and DemiVeemon were seeing Kari on her dance class, but I felt that Gatomon didn't dared to do it out of that she would think that she is too mature to such things but it was enough that Patamon said a simple "Shall we?" and they went and danced happily. They have a conexion, it is there and you don't even need the angels or the crest or the armor forms with the combined attack to see it. They have a bond just as they are. Patamon and Gatomon. The bond got created with them being on those small forms they're as most of the time. Angemon, Angewomon, Nefertimon and Pegasusmon only come out for battles. That's why I focus my fics on them as Patamon and Gatomon since everything started there. I remember another cute scene with them. It was on 01 when they reached the top of Spiral Mountain after defeating Machinedramon. Kari and TK made a tomb for the Numemon who died at Machinedramon's claws when they tried to protect Kari. The two little kids after finished the tomb started to do a prayer. Gatomon and Patamon looked at each other and then they started to pray too. They didn't even said any words like a let's pray too or anything. Their eyes conveyed the message to the other. Messages without words ^^ The following screenshot I already posted it in this thread but I'll show it again for the sake of this thread.  The screenshot above is from the episode where Yolei got her digiegg of sincerity. it was after TK offered himself and Kari to go to search Digitamamon who got sent flying away by that attack he took from Gorillamon while protecting the digidestined. In the above image is when Gatomon and Patamon nod at each other after TK's proposal of the searching. I liked it because of how they're looking at each other. They sure seem to enjoy each other company plus I didn't saw any other scene with any other two digimon smiling in this way at each other in that way. Patamon's smile there is so gentle and calm. The kind of smile that can even bring some peace to your heart, you know, the kind of smile that tells you everything will be alright and I'm with you always ^^ Gatomon's smile also is so gentle and soft, so happy to be alive and how she enjoys too much digivolving to Nefertimon but overall you can tell she enjoys Patamon's company a lot. Her smile you can tell it is sincere. It is hard to fake a smile like that and doubt she would do that anyways ^^ |
