A Ken/OC story [closed to first Ken]

Eva was one of the newer Digidestined she was quite beautiful brown hair and purple eyes her digimon was Terriermon and her crest was loyalty which did suit her quite well because she was always there for her friends no matter what happened.

Eva was going to watch a soccer game between Davis and Ken today she knew Davis was nervous hopefully his girlfriend Yolie could keep him calm Eva knew why he was nervous it was because the last time Davis and Ken faced each other in a soccer game was when they werent really friends.

Kari had basically begged Eva to come because she knew of her crush on Ken. The brunette was glad that Yolie had gotten together with Davis because if she got with Ken, Eva might not be able to take it there was so much good in Ken that he didnt Eva sighed as she headed towards the soccer field she saw Ken standing alone and called out to him.
"Hey Ken!" Eva called out smiling.

Ken was getting ready for his game to be honest he was feeling a little awkward playing against Davis and all but he didnt mind it too much he had a feeling Davis was more nervous than him he would try and talk to Davis before the game he was sure Yolie would be able to calm him down at least a little.

Ken had come a long way after becoming a Digidestined Eva had helped him a lot she was the first one to accept him into the team other than Davis and he really did care about her a lot if he could help it nothing would ever happen to Eva plus he was also starting to crush on her but he hadnt told anyone that not even Davis he was too scared of ruining the friendship between him and Eva.

Ken was brought out of his thoughts by a voice calling him he turned to see Eva and smiled he moved over to her giving her a gentle hug but pulling away quickly.
"Hello Eva you're rather early how are you?" Ken said smiling.

"Yeah I wanted to be here for support I mean Davis isnt too good with the idea of versing you in this match so I guess wanted to see how you were doing." Eva said biting her lower lip as she looked at him he appeared to be calm but she knew him better than that and hopefully he would share with her if something was wrong.

Eva sighed hoping Yolie could calm Davis down she hated seeing one of her best friends like that Eva's thoughts drew to Terriermon they were going to the digital world after the game as Gennai had called them apparently there was some trouble in the digital world she just hoped Terriermon was okay she would hate for something to happen to her best friend.

Ken sighed a little when she asked how he was doing but smiled at her it was sort of forced he didnt like the fact that Davis was so tense it was just a game after all right? But now he knew why Davis had gotten the crest of friendship he was too worried about the game becoming a milestone in their friendship.
"I'm not really worried about the game I'm more worried about Davis he should know this game won't change anything in our friendship because nothing can break us apart especially not soccer." Ken explained knowing she would understand what he meant by that before either of them could say anymore he heard a voice and saw TK and Kari headed towards.

"Hey Ken, hey Eva thought we'd come to see how you were doing Ken." Kari said smiling at Ken who frowned a little bit but managed a smile.

"I'm fine how is Davis doing? Has Yolei managed to calm him down I hate that he's taking this so seriously." Ken said feeling bad Davis was his first friend he should know Ken would not just abandon him like that.

"A little not by too much I never thought to see the day where Davis would be so panicked." Kari joked trying to lighten the situation she knew Ken was worried heck they all were they would just have to leave it to Yolie though.

"Well he should but he's probably just worried Ken I mean the last time you two played against one another was when you guys barely knew each other and turned out to be enemies as well so you cant really change much there." Eva said biting her lower lip then inwardly winced she was too blunt sometimes even though she was generally a nice person she waved slightly to Kari and smiled at her.

"Well a little is better than no improvement at all right?" Eva said trying to think positive about the situation and encourage the others though she didn't know how much of a good job she was doing at that.

"That's right its better than nothing and don't worry Davis will be fine he has the digiegg of friendship for a good reason now I suppose." TK said with Eva nodding in agreement

"I guess your right both of you I mean it'll be okay though it doesnt make a difference between our friendship at all." Ken said firmly and Kari smiled Ken and Davis had such a cute friendship but she felt sad that they were having problems with it Kari looked over at TK.

"Yeah its going to be all right we'll be rooting for you both." Kari said hoping to cheer Ken up at least a little though she had tried telling Davis that and it turned out to be a complete failure but hey at least she tried helping her friend Kari shrugged slightly.

"Yeah your right thanks guys really it means a lot." Ken said his eyes shining with sincerity he was so lucky to find friends after what he did as the Digimon Emperor he knew the others forgave him but it was hard for him to forgive himself.
