The Crest of Light

[Hikari Kamiya]

I thought since there was a section on the Crest of Hope there should be one on Hikari and the Crest of Light. I think the Crest of Light is suited to Hikari and Tailmon of course in many ways in my opinion. Let us go back to when we first discovered that Hikari was the eighth chosen child.

- She gave herself up to try to stop the powers of darkness (i.e. Vamdemon) from destroying the world.

- She caused Tailmon to digivolve using the power of her light her emotions for Wizardmon's death triggered this and caused Tailmon to evolve into Angewomon.

- Her power of light saved the Numemon temporarily even though they died later on because of the second last Dark Master.

Now on to the second season:

- The powers of the dark ocean targeted Hikari specifically because she is the Keeper of Light and this is seen when Miyako says in the original:

"You are the worst enemy of darkness"

I personally think Hikari is very much suited to the crest of light because she always has the belief that they have the strength to win. As for Tailmon I believe she regains her light when she reunites with Hikari and Wizardmon's death makes her realise her place with the eighth chosen child which was Hikari. ^^
