I'm eager to start collecting the mega expensive Japanese DVD season sets of Digimon. But there are two different DVD releases of season 1 out there.
The first one had this cover:
And included a full-color 36-page booklet, clean textless versions of the opening and ending, an announcement commercial, and a trailer.
The second version has this cover:
And has a two-volume booklet.
Which version is worth getting? Are the extras on the first version worth having? What are the differences between the booklets in the different versions? Did they use a different (or improved) video transfer on the second edition? I want some opinions on these sets.
