Tai Kamiya: Obviously the one who kept the group together through thick and thin and was the one who persisted to find everyone keep them together. Only time is when they lost Matt for a time and everyone split up for a while on Spiral Mountain.
Matt: Led for a time after Etemon. Unfortunately he didn't have what it took to keep them together. Still was a leader to his brother, but finally understood leadership after Joe, but lost it for a few days on Spiral Mountain until he rid himself of the darkness in his heart.
Sora: Led for a time after Etemon with Matt. Same result. However she led a group against the Bakemon in the convention center. Later she was able to help T.K. along before Piedmon's defeat.
Joe: Didn't lead really until Mimi. However he was key in getting the island back together with Sora on File Island with the mind over matter chant. Led Mimi later on Spiral Mountain key in defeating MetalEtemon.
Mimi: No actual leadership.
Izzy: Key in using his computer. No actual leadership I can think of.
T.K.: Led in the end against Piedmon to keep Kari safe. This was a test of leadership IMO for the next season and passed.
Kari: Always the upbeat of the group and helped everyone in times of need. Brought Gatomon back to the light. This helped her later for the next season leadership.
O.C.: (Myself) kept out as much darkness as I could from the wall of fire. Not seen in any episodes but in my fics I'm with them from time to time. Key in Dino-Ranger Powers and immediate ability to digivolve Arnamon to Mega.
