same here, mostly because of the reasons some fans of that pairing have to like it, reasons like they both walk in two legs, both are the coolest digimon or the most powerful, or are almost of the same height o.o
I mean how does that exactly work for evidence or reasons about that pairing? I think Gatomon didn't even got to know about Veemon being interested in her lol
Another thing that got me kinda off guard was the changed dialog in the US dub version of the Christmas episode of 02, when Veemon asks Ken if the digimon can go to his party as well, Ken tells him yes and that maybe he will be able to get Gatomon under the mistletoe, everyone laughs after that but I really doubt Gatomon would laugh about a thing involving her and a kiss under the mistletoe o.o
Oh and what do you think of my siggy? a friend of mine did it to me, the PataGato image she found it on Deviantart ^^

No kidding, and later add to that how some VeeGato fans treat Patamon and well.... let's just say I did got in the verge of flame some of them but I controlled myself ^^U

Yeah, it sure is really hard and more when your favorite character got the mother of all the bashings on a fic losing the girl he loves which supposedly at first she loved him but after a chain of events she fell for the one she didn't loved. Patamon went through that and it wasn't just moral bashing it was physical too and at Gatomon's paws no less because Veemon just arrived when Patamon was there, long story short she tricked Patamon telling him she wanted to go on a date with him since Kari thought she still loved Patamon, so in her attempts to hide Patamon he got kicked twice in a closet, then flung out the window, then shoved on the couch with a pillow on top of him, oh two fake kisses from Gatomon when Kari and her mother passed by, and the cherry on the top was Kari's mom hitting Patamon with the end of her broom because the last thing Gatomon did was hidding him on the couch under a pillow, his wings were sticking out and when Kari's mom went to the livingroom to read a book she only saw Patamon's wings and thought he was a sort of ugly bat and hit him with her broom o.o
add to that a failed dinner with Gatomon where Patamon ended with the plate of pasta on his head, Gatomon smacking him out of her way and then lectured by Kari because he used some incident Kari had with Veemon on his advantage, I swear the only thing left was killing him o.o
in part it were things like that what got me to be a diehard PataGato fan, to give Patamon some respect ^^

Yeah, hard to believe they do that but I saw it with my own eyes -_- Oh, and by the way I have something for you all, Funimation on their videos section on their site has all the whole season 2 of digimon in japanese with english subs, here is the link: www4.funimation.com/video/?page=show&b=275Note, if you aren't on the countries they have coberture you won't be able to see the videos, like Mexico, it is blocked  But send me a pm and I'll tell you a secret I know ^^ By the way on the episode 7 of 02 with the funimation subs when Davis learned that Gatomon digivolves to Angewomon and said "Angemon and Angewomon?" what Patamon said to that was: "Yeah! We're perfect for each other. Right Takeru?" That is even better than the translation on the fansub of that episode I saw time ago xD then when Davis was shaking Veemon trying to get him to digivolve into UltraAngemon, TK told Patamon "Don't tease him that much" so what that means? that Patamon can tease Davis? or that Patamon wasn't fully joking about what he said? the choice is yours lol |
