I know there is the "Other Seasons" topic, but I think that each one should have its own topic so that each one can be discussed.
So, in this third season, are the old digidestined a simple show?

I think it's the same voice actor I think I'll check it out later On a side note: Yamaki. The guy in black glasses. Who does he think he is and what on Earth is his organization for? I don't get it.. yet.. As well, in Episode 13, they say that some scientists made Digimon up... Would this season then be placed chronologically before 01 and 02, or is it pretty much completely unrelated? |

About voice actors for what I recall in the US dub Veemon and DemiDevimon shared the voice actor, oh and with Ken too o.o

season 3 is completely unrelated to any other season, only 01 and 01 play in the same "universe" if you want to put it like this^^

Yeah, I knew about veemon's voice sharing Yolei is the Riley in this season and Davis is the end narrator. But I'm sure there are other sharings. Not even in Japanese is there any connection? |

Actually, Kari's voice actor plays Mrs. Asaji. Lara Jill Miller. And the boy twin, Mako, played by, Wendee Lee, also plays the younger T.K.

I've just seen the first episode of tamers. Actually I saw it a few days ago but this is the first time I've had enough time to say anything about it.
I can see why some people don't like tamers. The inclution of the card game makes it seem like it was created for the sole perpose of being comershal. However, I'm guessing that it gets better in that level and it is the first season where someone creates thier own digimon (actually has anyone else done that?) so it's not really all that bad. I'm interested to see if my predictions that it will feel less like an advertisment as the series goes on turns out.
I find it interesting that Takato already knew what a Tamer was and that no explaination was given.
So far, that's all I've really got to say. Though there was one other thing that amused me. In general openings tend to have quite good animation and sometimes show off a little bit. The first thing to appear in the Tamers opening the first thing to appear is a basic run squenque, one the first things a beginner animater learns to do.
That said none of the digimon openings have had great animation.
Actually there is one more thing to say and once again it involves the opening. I thought it would have been nice if I hadn't known that Takato is eventually going to have a girl and a guy at his side. Especually since the episode itself has some nice foreshaddowing of that. It was really nicely done foreshaddowing too.

lol I recall that a Tamer was what you were called if you played the card game and they never said that 02 and 01 were the same show there that it was here THEY may have been called Tamers

I was more surprised that no explantion was given there and then. Usually kid's shows explain everything three times through then include a manual just in case you didn't get it. Digimon is quite unpatonising anyway but, it's nice to see that they're giving some surprises.
